The Beginning

of our Legacy!!!

This all started as a dream, a chance to bring the kind of track day that started with our first journey down pit lane all the way to now.

My mentor showed me that you can be safe and fast at the same time. My wife and I moved to Florida and saw a gap in the track day market and realized we could bring that brand of track day here. Learning that you have to go slow to go fast and coaching our riders not controlling them.

30 plus years ago I started off as a kid riding around on quads and dirt bikes like many of you and for years kept it that way. As I started to ride the street the need for going fast and flying down country roads and doing tons of bike nights and group rides made me want to do a track day so badly, but was always in fear I would wreck my bike at the track. I finally broke down and went with a friend to do my first day on a brand new bike with rented leathers and no clue what was about to happen to my whole life.

After my first track day it became clear that I was way safer at the track than on any street and that I would learn more doing track days then I ever would riding on the street. Fast forward almost 22 years later from the first ride on a sportbike almost all of my riding is on the track and barely any time is spent on the street and then began coaching with the organization I started with and stayed loyal to and then transitioned into racing as it was something I always wanted to do.

We eventually moved to Florida in 2013 and actively started looking for organizations to work with, but didn't like what was available. From that discovery Legacy Track Dayz was born. My wife Jenni also got involved by helping with operations and  expanded Speed of Life photography with her best friend Diana, the company they started in the Mid-Atlantic, and they are the exclusive photo company for Legacy Track Dayz. Our son Zac also got in on the action to become our Co-Director of social media and event staff when needed. Now, after hard work, blood, sweat, and tears...We are the first and only track day organization in the country to be the Official Track Day afiliate of The American Motorcyclist Association as well as sponsored by several others like Moto-D Racing, Pit-eck Speed Parts, SFL MiniGP, AvidanLeathers, supported by Speed of Life Photography, TOBC Racing, and partnered with the new future of track days in this country Track Day Riders United also known as TRU made up of mainly Absolute Cycle Experience and Team Pro-Motion, the two largest track day organizations in the east.
So we look forward to seeing you at the track and thank you for sharing in our dream, and always remember that "This is our legacy and racing is peace"
